Learning that moves at your pace

We cover primary, secondary, and A-level subjects with tutors who grew up teaching alongside family.

At Tutorpathv, the founders' own children sat at these same desks — which is why we've never treated tutoring as a transaction. Our teal-modern classrooms on Nyali Road are bright, calm, and deliberately small. Each student who walks in gets a diagnostic session first, so we know exactly where the gaps are before we touch a textbook. From there, sessions are structured around the Kenyan curriculum while drawing on supplementary materials where the syllabus leaves students behind. Parents get a written progress note after every four sessions, and we're reachable on WhatsApp the same day if something urgent comes up.

Three ways we support every learner

From one-on-one coaching to curated study packs, we've structured our offer around what Mombasa students actually need.

“My daughter was repeating Form Two Maths for the third time when we found Tutorpathv. After twelve weeks of sessions at the Nyali Road centre, she sat her end-of-term paper and scored a B+. I didn't think that was possible in one term. The progress notes the tutors sent every month made a real difference — I could see exactly where the work was happening.”

Why families in Mombasa keep coming back

It isn't just grades — it's the confidence that builds when a student finally understands why, not just what.

Repeat enrolment rates tell their own story: more than 70 per cent of our students re-book the following term, and siblings of current students make up a quarter of all new registrations each year. That pattern doesn't happen by accident. It happens because our tutors teach to mastery — we don't move on until the concept clicks, even if that means revisiting the same topic three sessions in a row. We also keep honest limits in mind: we don't offer exam guarantees, and external factors such as school attendance, home environment, and student motivation all shape outcomes in ways no tutor can fully control. What we can control is the quality of every hour spent with us.
