How our booking process works
You pick the slot, we confirm within two hours — no lengthy forms or deposits for first-time bookings.
Booking at Tutorpathv is designed to be friction-free. You can reserve a slot through our WhatsApp line, by calling +254 712 345 678, or by walking into the centre at 14 Nyali Road during operating hours. We display live slot availability on a shared calendar updated every morning by 08:00. First-time families pay nothing upfront — we schedule a complimentary diagnostic session, and the first paid session is only committed to once we've agreed on a learning plan together. Recurring weekly slots are held automatically term-to-term unless cancelled in writing by the Friday of the preceding week.
Slot options that fit real family life
Three distinct time bands so you're not forced to choose between school, work, and tutoring.
Afternoon slots — 14:00 to 17:00
Our busiest window, suited to students who finish school before 14:00. We recommend booking these at least five days in advance during exam revision season (October and March), as they fill quickly.
Saturday slots — 09:00 to 13:00
Four hours of back-to-back 50-minute sessions for students who need concentrated catch-up. Saturday sessions are also where we run our peer revision groups — small clusters of students at the same level working through past papers together.
What happens if you need to cancel or reschedule
Life happens — our policy is built to accommodate that without penalising families.
We hold a 24-hour cancellation window without any penalty charge. Rescheduling within the same week is free; rescheduling to the following week carries a small administrative fee of KSh 200 to cover the slot reallocation. Sessions cancelled with less than two hours' notice are charged at 50 per cent of the session rate — this protects the tutor's time while remaining fair to families dealing with genuine emergencies. We've applied this policy consistently since 2017 and it's never been a sticking point with parents who book in good faith. If your child is ill, a WhatsApp message is enough — no formal paperwork required.
